Pro: first drafts
First drafts from your own facts, with the gaps left showing.
For a two-person firm, the hard part of a £30,000 tender is the evening of writing. Pro turns your facts into first drafts you edit, check and submit yourself.
How it works
- Upload or paste the questions. A PDF or Word file from the buyer, up to 12 MB and 120 pages, or paste them in. Questions in tables are read too.
- Check the question list. Each question with its word limit and weighting. Edit, add or remove questions before drafting (up to 25).
- Draft one answer at a time. Each is built only from your profile, your past jobs and the five saved answers that match it best.
- Read the highlights. Gaps in [brackets] are for you to fill. Any amount, year, count, certificate or organisation that isn't in your facts is marked "Not in your profile".
- Tick and download. Once you tick "I have checked these answers are true and I'll submit them myself", the Word file is yours.
The rules the drafts follow
- Use only the facts given: never invent a client, number, date, accreditation, insurance level or quote
- Where the evidence is missing, leave a visible gap: "[Add a real example of a similar contract here]"
- Keep to the word limit, in UK English
First drafts to edit. You check, you submit. We can't promise you'll win. If a buyer asks whether you used AI, say so. A buyer can exclude a supplier that gives inaccurate or misleading information (Procurement Act 2023, Schedule 7, paragraph 13), so every word you submit has to be true.
Fair use
Pro includes 10 bid packs a London calendar month, with up to 3 rewrites per question. Your answers library keeps the good ones for next time, and exports to Word.
Your documents
Uploads are read for your draft only, never shown to anyone, and deleted 30 days after upload, or at once when you delete them. Bidlark's admin screens never show your drafts or saved answers.
Check the buyer's instructions first: some tender documents say they mustn't be shared with AI tools or third parties. If so, paste only the questions, or don't use drafting for that tender. Many buyers ask you to declare any AI you used (PPN 017): answer honestly.
Questions
Clarification questions about drafts
What the drafts use, what they never do, and what happens to the documents you upload.
Is it AI?
Yes. Pro drafts are written by an AI model from your profile, past jobs and saved answers. If a buyer asks whether you used AI to prepare your bid, say so.
What happens to my upload?
It's read, used for this draft and deleted automatically 30 days after you upload it, or straight away when you delete it. We never show it to anyone.
Can I upload any tender pack?
Check the buyer's instructions first: some tender documents say they mustn't be shared with AI tools or third parties. If so, paste only the questions, or don't use drafting for that tender. Many buyers ask you to declare any AI you used (PPN 017): answer honestly.
Can it invent a client or a number?
It's told not to, and every answer is checked afterwards: any amount, year, count, certificate or organisation that isn't in your facts is highlighted for you to change or confirm.
Can I download a draft before I check it?
No. A draft's Word file, on its page or in your data download, unlocks once you tick "I have checked these answers are true and I'll submit them myself."
How many can I do?
10 bid packs a month on Pro, with up to 3 rewrites per question.
