1. About us

2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payments are taken securely by Stripe. If we make an obvious pricing error we'll tell you before going ahead.
3. Your account and subscription
- You must give accurate details and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Free trial. Your first plan starts with a 14-day free trial: you add a card at checkout and nothing is taken for 14 days. We'll email you 7 days and again 3 days before the first payment. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged. The free trial is once per account and once per email address.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, as chosen) until cancelled. We'll email you at least 14 days before an annual plan renews.
- You can cancel at any time from your account in a couple of clicks; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a payment fails we'll let you know and give you time to update your card before limiting your account.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. You can cancel before the change takes effect.
4. Your content
You own the information you put into Bidlark. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service. You can download your profile, past jobs, answers library and drafts (a data file and Word documents) or delete any of them at any time from your account. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for any documents you generate and use.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break or overload it, no reselling access without our written agreement.
6. Availability
We work hard to keep Bidlark available and backed up, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We'll give notice of planned maintenance where we can.
Bidlark specifics
- Where notices come from. Bidlark reads public contract notices from Find a Tender, Contracts Finder and Public Contracts Scotland. They contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Bidlark is independent: it isn't a government service, and it isn't endorsed by any buyer or government body.
- What isn't covered. Contracts a buyer doesn't advertise: under the Procurement Act a notice is needed only when a buyer advertises a contract worth £12,000 or more (central government and NHS trusts) or £30,000 or more (other buyers), including VAT; Scottish buyers need to advertise only from £50,000 for goods and services or £2 million for works, excluding VAT. Nor are buyers' own portals, Sell2Wales-only and eTendersNI-only notices, or schools buying without a notice. We can't promise every notice in your field reaches you.
- Information, not advice. Readings, verdicts, checklists and flags are information to help you decide whether to bid. They aren't legal or procurement advice, and the buyer's own documents decide. Always read the official notice and tender pack before you bid.
- First drafts. Pro drafts are first drafts written by AI from the facts you give us. They are yours to check, change and submit; nobody at Bidlark writes, reviews or submits bids, and we can't promise you'll win. If a buyer asks whether you used AI to prepare your bid, answer honestly. A draft's Word file, on its page or in your data download, unlocks only once you tick that you've checked its answers.
- Fair use. Pro includes 10 bid packs a London calendar month, with up to 3 rewrites per question. A pack is counted when its first answer is drafted.
- Your uploads. Only upload documents you're allowed to share with us. Check the buyer's instructions first: some tender documents say they mustn't be shared with AI tools or third parties. If so, paste only the questions, or don't use drafting for that tender. Many buyers ask you to declare any AI you used (PPN 017): answer honestly. We use uploads only to draft your answers and delete them 30 days after upload.
